Blink 182 Cancels Bamboozle Performance

>> Earlier today, it was announced that Blink 182 was canceling their headlining performance at this year's Bamboozle Festival on Saturday May 19th.  My Chemical Romance will now be performing in their place.  Details can be seen below, and at thebamboozle.com .



>> In addition, Blink 182 has canceled all of their May tour dates, as seen below.
The following tour dates are cancelled and will not be rescheduled: 

May 15 at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY
May 17 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH
May 18 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT
May 19 at The Bamboozle in Asbury Park, NJ (*There are no refunds being offered for The Bamboozle)
May 20 at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA
May 22 at Colisee Pepsi Arena in Quebec City, Canada.

Refunds for these performances will be available at point of purchase. Any tickets purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or www.billetech.com will be automatically credited back to the credit card used to make the order. All tickets purchased at venue box offices must be returned to the box office to receive a refund.

New Artists Announced for Firefly Music Festival

>> As previously announced, the brand new Firefly Music Festival will be taking place on July 20-22 in Dover, DE.  This festival already has an incredible line up featuring artists like The Killers, The Black Keys, Jack White, and others.

Introducing: Firefly Music Festival

>> This July, something wonderful is happening in Delaware. There's a new music festival in town, and it could very well be the East Coast's equivalent to Coachella. From July 20th - 22nd, musicians such as The Killers, The Black Keys, Jack White, Girl Talk, Young The Giant, and many more will be taking the stage at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware. Spring Tour Dates: Bellwether

New Acoustic Stage Announced for 2012 Vans Warped Tour

>> You read that title right - In addition to the weekly band announcements, it has been revealed that this year's Vans Warped Tour will feature a brand new Acoustic Basement Stage. According to the Warped website, this stage will feature performances from Anthony Raneri (Bayside), Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife, I Am the Avalanche), A Loss for Words, Transit, Into It. Over It., Koji, Owen Plant, Brian Marquis and many more.
From the Warped website:
The Acoustic Basement is a brand new stage on this year's Vans Warped Tour and will feature leading and up-and-coming acoustic acts within the punk/indie/folk genres. The setting will be a large tent/stage designed to have the look and feel of an intimate basement show, allowing the audience to get up close and personal with the artist, relax in the shade and get a break from the sun and the clamor of the crowd.
