Promoting 101 ; Jac Vanek

Another addiction? Cool..

>>I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it on here before, but I'm pretty much obsessed with Jac Vanek bracelets. No idea what I'm talking about? Imagine the LiveStrong bracelets, only wider, [mostly] in black and white, and not for a specific cause. I don't have any yet, but I've been begging to get some for a while now. With the creation of her Street Team, "The Pack", I can get some at Bamboozle! That's right, Jac is going to be selling bracelets and such at Bamboozle this weekend, and on this year's Warped Tour. Want to get involved? Send an e-mail to thepack@jacvanek.com including when [which dates] yer going to Bamboozle &or Warped. [NOTE: Bamboozle Set lists were announced yesterday. Check their site here :D] Not going to either but still want to help? The answer to that and any other questions can be found here, the official Facebook group for The Pack.

>Make sure you check out these sites to get all the latest information!

Video Killed The Radio Star: All Time Low live

& This is but one of the reasons I secretly wish I lived in California.
Or that I could've been there this weekend.
You know, whichever.

Get Hyped: Bamboozle Left (Today & Tomorrow)

But I'm still focused on the Bamboozle Festival taking place in Jersey.. on May 2&3.

>>Not because I don't care about the West Coast, I'm just pumped to go when it hits my end of town. In honor of my obsession, I've just replaced the Fueled By Ramen playlist with one featuring some of the bands I'm really looking forward to seeing. Check it out, then again you should be hearing it when you open the page.. Apparently it takes forever to load? If someone knows another way for me to get a playlist on here, I'd prob love you forever if you could fill me in. Hey thanks.

Name Dropping 101 ; Sparks The Rescue

Autumn - Sparks The Rescue

>>I saw them live back in December at the All Time Low show, and I've been obsessed ever since. Song wise, I'm a sucker for "Hello Mexico" and "My Heart Radio" especially, since it was the first song I'd ever heard by them . "Pine Tree State" seriously makes me smile every time I put it on. Hear it now on their MySpace. Sparks signed to Fearless Records on March 11th, and they've been blowing up ever since. Well, not blowing up as in they're on the radio & being played like that one Taylor Swift song everyone's pretty much sick of by now, but they're gaining some well deserved recognition. I'm proud, and they've definitely earned it. P.S. They're really good live, and their set is mad energetic. Check out Sparks The Rescue and some of their label mates (including Artist Vs. Poet, The Maine, Every Avenue, and The Morning Light) at Bamboozle! Spread the word.

[NOTE: Bamboozle Left is this weekend, April 4&5, but the only Fearless bands playing are AVP, Eye Alaska, Every Avenue, The Morning Light, and A Skylit Drive.]

Name Dropping 101 ; Part 19

>>In addition to writing this page, I'm going to be writing for HeartThrobMedia.net ! Check the site, and you can find a link to this page under their blogs section. So far, it's one of 3 blogs featured there.

>>Check out Liam and Me, I found them a few weeks ago but I never really had a chance to listen to them until now. They almost remind me of Cobra Starship, but with a kick of The Bravery, especially on the track "It's A Shame". How both of those bands come to mind at once, I'll never know, but maybe you will as soon as you get listening.

>>For the first time since I opened it, The Academy Is... doesn't have the most votes on the poll! Paramore is now in the lead with 18, while TAI has but 17. So close. Haven't voted yet? Add your input! Cast your vote for your favorite artist on the Fueled By Ramen record label.

>>Sparks The Rescue posted a new song, "Pine Tree State." Catch it on Eyes To The Sun, coming out on May 5th. Click to listen to the song on their MySpace right now. I seriously can't wait to see them live again at Bamboozle (Sat May 2nd), their shows are so energetic and downright fun :D

>>Speaking of, new bands added to the Bamboozle line up, for both May 2&3.
New acts include:
SATURDAY MAY 2nd: Dr. Acula, The Bride Wore Black, & The Status
SUNDAY MAY 3rd: Hit The Lights, My Favorite Highway, & These Green Eyes

So.. WHO'S GOING?! If it's you, who are you most looking forward to seeing?
